HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH THE TIME DIFFERENCE WHEN WORKING WITH SOMEONE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY?

This is easily accomplished through clear expectations and communication. We cover this in detail in modules 6 & 7. For example, let’s say you need someone to work M-F 9AM-5PM EST. As long as the job description states it is required, they work those specific hours, you will attract employees who are willing to commit to the 3rd shift. We then communicate multiple times during the interview process that there are required work hours, and will this work for his/her schedule. 

You will find most Filipinos are accustomed to working 2nd and 3rd shift. The Philippines is the largest call center business location in the world. Plus, there are a lot of Filipinos who actually prefer to work at night simply because it's cooler and there is less noise.

ISN'T PAYING SOMEONE $4/HR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEM?

The average rate in the Philippines is $12.00 per day. It is also typical for someone making $12/day to have a 1-1 ½ hr commute to that job via bus. This means they are typically gone 11-12 hrs per day to bring home $12 a day. Paying somebody $4/hr is actually a wage that will enable them to not just take care of their family, have extra spending money, and be able to work from home. You are providing a much better quality of life for your employees and their family.

Also, when I hire somebody at $4/hr and I train them, they become better at their job. I'm typically going to give them a raise after 30 days (which is usually 10%), again in 6 months, and then yearly after that as long as they're performing well.
